A Stronger DASI: Built to Deliver More Value for Customers

Over the past 18 months, DASI has made significant investments in the systems, processes, and partnerships that support how we serve the aviation aftermarket. This work has been deliberate: strengthen the foundation, improve the customer experience, and build a platform capable of scaling with the needs of customers and channel partners.

The result is a stronger DASI: a modern ERP, a rebuilt digital marketplace, enhanced export compliance capability, and the backing of Marubeni Corporation. Each of these changes was made with one objective in mind; to make it easier, faster, and more valuable to do business with us.

Why We Invested

The aviation spare parts aftermarket is becoming more complex. Transactions move faster, customer expectations continue to rise, and regulatory requirements around export compliance are more demanding and volatile than they were even a few years ago. Also, with a marketplace representing inventory from more than 20 OEM channel partners and growing, DASI needed an operating platform built for that environment.

Our legacy systems had served the business well, but they were not built for the scale, speed, and visibility our customers need today. The transformation was designed to remove those constraints and create the capacity for better service, better data, and more scalable growth.

A Modern Operating Foundation

In 2025, DASI replaced its legacy ERP with a modern, purpose-fit platform. This is the backbone of the business: quoting, order management, inventory visibility, financials, documentation, and compliance workflows all depend on it.

The new ERP improves speed, accuracy, and data integrity across the customer journey. It also gives DASI the foundation to automate more processes, improve quote turnaround, strengthen documentation quality, and operate with greater consistency as volume and complexity increase.

A Better Digital Marketplace

The rebuilt DASI marketplace, store.dasi.com, is a major step forward in how customers search, quote, compare, and buy aviation parts.

Search is faster and more precise, inventory from more than 20 OEM channel partners is easier to access, and cross-condition quoting gives procurement teams clearer choices. The RMA process has also been streamlined, with further improvements being shaped by customer feedback. We also continue the enhancement journey, with a complete self service order portal going live soon.

Compliance Built for Today’s Market

Export compliance has become more demanding across the global aviation parts market. New sanctions frameworks, evolving export controls, and tighter documentation expectations make it essential to get every transaction right.

DASI has invested in stronger compliance systems and processes to protect customers, channel partners, and the integrity of every transaction. The goal is simple: move efficiently, meet requirements, and avoid unnecessary risk.

The Marubeni Advantage

In April 2026, DASI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, one of Japan’s leading global trading companies. For DASI, this marks an acceleration of our strategy, not a change in direction.

Marubeni’s investment validates the marketplace model we have built and gives DASI greater financial strength, broader global reach, and a long-term partner aligned with our growth plans. The DASI team remains in place, and our mission remains clear: make it genuinely easy to do business with us.

With Marubeni’s backing, we can deepen channel partner relationships, expand market access, and continue investing in the platform and service capabilities customers need.

What Customers Can Expect

The work behind this transformation is now in place. Customers should expect a stronger DASI: better infrastructure, broader inventory access, stronger compliance capability, improved digital tools, and a Commercial Team structured to build deeper, more proactive relationships.

What Comes Next

Transformation is not a one-time project. AS we move into 2027, DASI will focus on expanding surplus inventory solutions and channel partner inventory, improving workflows, increasing automation, and continuing to enhance the customer experience.

We will also keep listening. Customer and partner feedback will continue to shape how we improve the marketplace, strengthen service, and create more value across the procurement process.
